We are seeking an attentive and courteous In Room Dining Server to join our team at The Sebastian Vail. This role requires a diligent individual who is committed to providing exceptional service directly to our guests in the comfort of their rooms. Responsibilities:
- Deliver room service orders promptly and accurately to guests, ensuring all items are correctly prepared and presented.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries confidently.
- Set up in-room dining tables following hotel standards, ensuring cleanliness and presentation excellence.
- Collaborate with the culinary and front desk teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery.
- Address guest requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and hotel policies.
- Perform cleanup duties and return equipment to designated locations after service.
- Provide input to improve service and operations within room service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift trays and push carts.
- A positive and professional demeanor.
