Bell and Valet Person - The Sebastian Vail

**Position Overview:**

The Bell and Valet Person is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment. This position involves assisting guests with their luggage, providing valet parking services, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and genuine demeanor.

- Assist guests with luggage handling, including loading and unloading from vehicles.

- Provide valet parking services, ensuring vehicles are parked safely and efficiently.

- Maintain a clean and organized front entrance and lobby area.

- Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and dining options in a professional manner.

- Assist in managing the hotel’s transportation services, including shuttles and car rentals, when necessary.

- Uphold the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction at all times.

- Collaborate with front desk and concierge staff to ensure that all guest requests are fulfilled promptly.

- Monitor parking areas to ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety regulations.

- Support colleagues and management as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is a plus.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for valet duties).

- Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles (experience preferred).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

- Ability to lift heavy luggage and perform physical tasks.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
