
On-call Banquet Server
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic On-call Banquet Server to join our dynamic team at The Sebastian Vail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service during events, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. As an on-call server, you will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate various events and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down banquet tables and dining areas according to event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of food items, as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth event operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as food handling guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Attend pre-event briefings and training sessions to stay informed about menu changes and service expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and execute tasks efficiently.
