Summary

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of our establishment and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded.

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $25/ hr

Schedule: Flexible schedule. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily hotel transactions, including room revenue, guest accounts, and cash drawer balances.
  • Verify the accuracy of guest accounts, charges, and credits, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports, including the Night Audit report, to management and other departments.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process for guests arriving or departing during the overnight shift.
  • Process late-night arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate room assignments and billing information.
  • Perform routine security checks of hotel premises to ensure guest safety and security.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including filing paperwork, updating guest records, and maintaining cleanliness of the front desk area.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including hotel management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight shifts
