Beverage and Banquet Manager - Gambit Bar at The Sebastian Vail
We are seeking an experienced and service-focused professional to lead beverage and banquet operations at a luxury hospitality venue. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting operational excellence, and guiding a team that upholds high standards of quality, consistency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar and banquet operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Lead, train, schedule, and support team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain strong knowledge of beverage programs, menu offerings, service standards, and event execution.
- Collaborate with culinary, event, and hotel leadership teams to plan and execute banquets, receptions, and special events.
- Monitor labor, inventory, and operational costs while supporting budgetary goals and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Address guest concerns professionally and promptly, with a focus on service recovery and guest satisfaction.
- Support ordering, inventory control, product rotation, and vendor coordination for beverage and event operations.
- Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and revenue.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in beverage, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality management required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards, banquet operations, and event execution.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, inventory control, and labor management.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to remain professional, composed, and attentive under pressure.
